Walking in a Winter Wonderland

 It's no secret that I loooove winter.  It gives me an excuse to toss on some warm pajamas, curl up with hot cocoa, and marathon stream Netflix.  However, on occasion, I'll dawn my cozies and wander out into the snow - when we have it!

I figured I'd find a bit of inspiration in my lovely mother's winder wonderland sim, and I sure did!  I adore winter in both worlds, and her sim is definitely one of my favorites!

I went absolutely insane at C88 this round - boots, socks, and sweaters oh my!  Featured today is the new hair from Clawtooth, featuring a texture change scarf and a messy mop of adorable hair.  Foxes premiered an adorable long-sleeved dress in a slew of colors as well, I love the mint one, as well as all of the ombres.  The boots are also a tidbit of newness from C88, made by Decoy.  The Neve boots come in a ton of different colors, and include the adorable socks seen with them - they texture change too!

#weareALLclean

Today, I'm doing something a little different!  My lovely son Nile and daughter Macie took shower selfies for the #weareALLclean campaign, and I felt I should jump in on the bandwagon.
#weareALLclean is a campaign to end the stigma facing people those who are HIV positive, or have AIDS.  More often than not, they're considered to be dirty, unsafe, or reckless.  No thought is given to the fact that children are born with HIV/AIDS daily, that women are raped and test HIV positive afterwards, or the fact that it in fact can be regulated!

HIV/AIDS is no longer a death sentence - modern medicine has brought to us management medications, and can even roll back the effects of AIDS.  The assumption that we could be "infected" with this disease without discretion is false, and we should stop the criminalization of those affecting by this condition.  We are ALL clean.  Even those suffering from these conditions.  Stop the labeling, and push for a positive environment for all.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Christmas is arguably one of my two favorite holidays - Halloween takes first prize, but who DOESN'T love free candy?!

Anyway, I figured I'd spread a little bit of Christmas cheer today.  I absolutely adore the Alouette Christmas sets this year!  The itsy bitsy stool and the stockings are just too precious to pass up - the set is definitely worth the buy if you're looking to add a little bit of Christmas to your home.  I'm also in love with the LAQ Christmas trees.  I'm obsessed with the traditional Christmas decorations, and the candles on the tree hit home.  It couldn't be more perfect.  Oh, and while you're at it, LISP Bazaar has a wonderful Christmas sectional.  It's bright red upholstery and adorable Christmas-sweater pillows make a cozy home ready for Santa.

I'm obsessed with the new line of sweater/button-up combos that Tee*fy's put out.  They're the perfect winter weather ensemble, especially when paired with the new REIGN. boots, featured at this month's N21.

I'm a coldLogic fanatic.  I think I buy every bit of new clothing they put out, even if I'd never wear it.  This time, I've fallen in absolute love with their winter sweaters; the wayne sweater is perfect to pull off as a sweater dress, and when paired with a cute set of Uggs, much like the DCNY's pictured, it makes a cozy and cute combo.

The gorgeous gal in the picture with me is Spell!  She's absolutely fantastic, and as you can see, she's got one of the adorable Intrigue Co. plushies in her hand, found exclusively at The Arcade.  She's got a knack for pastels and cute things... I think I've got a knack for her!

Make sure if you're making the holiday rounds for gifts, you pop by The Arcade.  Dust Bunny has some lovely decorations for your home and the Intrigue plushies need new homes for the holidays!  Spellbound also has an adorable hair out - the rares include a bear hat and a fox hat!  So cute!
